Relocate
Moving to Denver,handled
Buying from a thousand miles away means trusting someone else's eyes. I take that seriously, and I do considerably more than send listings.
Movers, lenders, schools, a furnished place to land. Concierge is not a word I use loosely.
How it works remotely
Four moves,from anywhere
You should never be asked to buy something you have not properly seen.
The call
Where you are coming from, what you are leaving behind, what your week actually looks like. That last one decides the neighborhood more than the budget does.
The shortlist
I narrow the map before you spend a weekend on a plane. Video walkthroughs of everything worth seeing, filmed by me, not the listing agent.
The trip
One well-planned visit beats three scattered ones. I build the route, book the showings, and we cover ground in a day and a half.
The landing
Furnished place to stay while you close or while you decide. Movers, auto transport, storage, lender, insurance, schools, vet. I have the list and I make the calls.
The honest version
Moving to Denver:what nobody will tell you
Denver is not the city it was in 2021 and you have probably read the headlines. Here is the accurate picture.
Net domestic migration into Colorado has turned negative. Metro-level net migration is down sharply from its peak. That is real, and it is being reported badly in both directions.
What it means for you is simpler than the headlines suggest. Inventory is easier than it was. You have time to think, which you did not three years ago. Sellers who bought at the top are not in a hurry to discount, so the market has gone quiet rather than cheap. Well-priced homes in the neighborhoods people actually want still move fast.
Come for a proper look before you commit to an area. Rent or take a furnished place for sixty days if you can. The single most expensive relocation mistake is buying in the neighborhood that photographed well instead of the one that matches how you actually live.
The concierge part
Who I call,so you don't
Every client gets this. It matters most when you are moving across the country.
| What you need | What I handle |
|---|---|
| Cross-country movers | Vetted long-haul movers and auto transport, with realistic quotes rather than the lowball that doubles on loading day. |
| A place to land | Furnished mid-term options including my own Berkeley properties, so you are not signing a year lease sight unseen. |
| Lending | Lenders who understand out-of-state income, self-employment and relocation packages. Not every lender does. |
| Schools | Denver Public Schools runs a choice system, not straight boundaries. I will run your exact address and explain what your options actually are. |
| Trades and services | Contractors, roofers, electricians, cleaners, vet, dentist. My list, not a directory. It is not published for a reason. |
